Introducing the funds

Donations and sometimes acquisitions regularly enrich the library collection, which is already an important regional heritage capable of assisting local or national historical research.

The fund includes more than 27,000 books, 400 journals and 300 iconographies, numerous newspapers and approximately 3,000 documents.

1300 books were published before 1816, including a few rare documents from the 16th century.

The content of this fund is, in large part, focused on Protestantism but it also addresses Catholicism, Judaism, Islam, spirituality (including Buddhism), atheism and secularism. It is a broad panel that offers every researcher an exceptional source of information about the past and present.

The library is not open to the public. Documents and books are only available on site on request. Find out more at the secretariat
