The visit of the museum is possible in self-guided tours or guided tours with one of our volunteer or seasonal guides
Duration : 1h to 1h30
Visit times are different depending on the time of year
Rates : Admission fees provide access to the permanent and temporary exhibitions.
With a light simple tablet, you can follow the museum’s permanent itinerary at your own pace.
For each point of the visit :
– images and texts are accompanied by audio comments recorded by professional actors
– two levels of information are available to visitors (general level or detailed level).
Each visitor can adapt his or her itinerary according to his or her own interests.
The tablet comments are translated into French and English and an audio description is available for the visually disabled people
The tablet is free, do not hesitate to ask at the reception.
In addition to the visit an interactive experience about the” Calas case” is offered on the tablet

A case that marked Protestantism in our region.
On the permanent exhibition the explanatory panels are translated into English, German and Occitan.
The booklets are available at the reception.

Choice 1 : Guided trip from Ferrières to the «Pierre Plantée»
discovery of the historical, rural and Protestant heritage of the village and its surroundings.
Choice 2 : Discovery of the “Imprimerie de l’Avenir”, the machines and the different printing techniques.
